After previous school shootings, teachers in schools where I’ve worked have asked me for suggestions about how to speak with students about the topic. This memo contains some suggestions for topics to discuss about the shootings in Chardon, OH, and some of my thoughts about each of them.

Protecting Youth from Military Recruiters

Since the Army claims it isn’t recruiting youth under 17, why not codify this restriction into local law?
